Speaking of Meg's friends & Neil, doesn't Chris go to the same school with Meg? It is implied that they go to different schools in one of the episodes. Also, surprised Meg has friends, I was going into this show thinking Meg has no friends at all outside of a one sided friendship with Neil. I still like Joe, Kevin & Bonnie although alongside Joe, we don't see much of Bonnie either. I like Cleveland and his son, although knowing that Cleveland Jr would go through a massive change in personality for The Cleveland Show, I'm not looking forward to that show a bit. Chris is just annoying for me, and Peter, its a mixed bag, there are times where I find him funny, but there are times where I find him completely annoying, especially that god obnoxious, annoying as f*ck laugh.Īs for the side characters, I'm kinda surprised with how little Cleveland, Quagmire & Joe appear, especially Joe who doesn't seem to have graduated to been at the bar with Peter, Cleveland & Quagmire. I still love Brian, but as for the other family members, Meg I still like but there are moments where I found her to be annoying, Lois is still likeable too, same goes for Stewie. My opinions on the characters feels more complicated. Regardless, I'm still going to go through and catch up with the series in order to complete my goal of watching as much animated content in the world that I can. Not gonna lie, but I am concerned about what my opinion on future Family Guy episodes, as I didn't find myself enjoying Family Guy as much as I hope. A Picture's Worth a Thousand Bucks - Peter's song sounds very familiar but I can't pinpoint why Let's Go to the Hop - The song itself is pretty great, but outside of that, after the song the episode loses my interestĥ. The Story on Page One - Stewie's subplot made me chuckle a few times, but the main A Plot is kinda boring imo.ħ. Drunk Brian acting as if he's high on drugs is hilariousĨ. Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater - Not a big fan of the Annie parody song at all, on the other hand thou, I did like the Shining & Star Wars references. Also, it is interesting to see Meg care for Chris, as I feel like its something that isn't.ĩ. If I'm Dyin', I'm Lyin' - The guy complaining about the same old crap and saying that they have to try something new & fresh even thou the head exec ignores that idea feels even more relevant these days. Didn't really care for the Peter & Lois plotġ1. Dammit Janet - Personally, I think that Stewie is way too young for a romance plot, he's only what, around the 1-3 year range? I will say, I did like the song and it was fun hearing Tara Strong's Bubbles voice. ![]() Peterbus Unum - While it has moments where I chuckled to, the story itself feels rather boring imoġ3. I'm mixed on it, mainly due to the Lois & Peter subplot which I didn't care for, but I really liked the main plot with Brian & Stewie and the song is amazing, and I can see Povenmire's influence on it as it does make me think of Phineas & Ferb.Īlso, love when Stewie says "Until we're syndicated, Fox will never let us die, please?"ġ5. Road to Rhode Island - Unfortunately, while this is the first episode directed by Dan Povenmire (according to the Fandom wiki, not sure why but it isn't listed on his page on IMDB). Holy Crap - I really HATE Peter's father, he reminds me of some authority figures I've encountered in my childhood & teenage years, and not to mention his extreme religious side.ġ8. Itchy & Scratchy" as I don't get what this episode is trying to say about feminismĢ0. I Am Peter, Hear Me Roar - I feel like the problem with this episode is similar to " Bart vs. I do eventually plan to add American Dad & The Cleveland Show episodes eventually.Ģ1. A Hero Sits Next Door - Seeing Bonnie & Lois hang out & talk to each other makes me wish that The Simpsons would of done the same for Marge, Family Guy is certainly better than Simpsons in that regard (at least for now)Ĭan't wait to see more, I have a feeling that at least for the first few Seasons, I will enjoy it. Also, don't get the "More You Know" bit at the end of the episodeģ. I have heard that the depiction of Indians haven't aged well in this episode, and honestly I can see why. The Son Also Draws -I liked the plot with Chris, but it feels sort of forgotten midway through the episode. Mind Over Murder - Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy Lois's singing voice in this episodeĥ. So, I decided to binge watch Season 1 of Family Guy today, and I found myself liking it, it is weird to see how different Season 1 is compared to Modern Family Guy, not just in animation style, but in characterization & interactions.Īnyway, here is my ranking of Season 1, ranked from Worst to Best:ħ.
